Wynton is both a music maker and one who signals the people in the Twigger village.  Though his horn is rather large for him, it’s lightweight and he takes it along wherever he goes.

 Wynton knows he's named after a famous human trumpeter. He's proud to carry the name and even a little of the associated reputation.
