Cym

 

Cym found their calling when a few tiny sand dollars showed up in a gift of tiny shells. The inner support structure means that they have a unique resonance when clapped together like cymbals. Cym discovered this very quickly and offered to use them as percussive musical instruments as well as a signal system for warning Twiggers of potential hazards or danger. A human or other creatures rarely hear the sound of the sand dollars but Twigger ears easily pick up the unique reverberations.  Cym also carries a tiny shell horn they use for other communications.
