Monty

 

Monty is an avid Monty Python fan, that’s why the other Twiggers call him Monty. Of course there are no televisions in the village but he and the other Twiggers are worldly enough to know about movies and they have favorites. Monty fancies that he’s carrying a skull and offering a coin for people to bring out their dead, neither of which is true. The “skull” is a nut that a rodent chewed a hole in and the coin is just a found object, a lost medal. Twiggers have imaginations, too.
