Bertelia

Bertelia:  acorn, immature pine cone, twigs, pine cone scales, birch bark, flower parts. 

     Bertelia is of the Birch Clan. She found the shells one day when she was visiting the human. The human doesn’t seem to mind a Twigger rummaging through things. They’re so small they can’t do much more damage than a mouse, especially since they don’t chew on things they find. 

     Bertelia found a bag of shells the human’s daughter brought back from a trip to Mexico. Bertelia knew she wouldn’t find any shells like that in Minnesota. The human was happy to let her have them, as long as she keeps them in the village. Bertelia isn’t planning to go anywhere.
