Divot is an investigator. This golf ball was found in the woods. It’s a suspicious object since golf balls are very hard and something, perhaps a very scary something, has chewed a hole in it. The Twiggers have sent Divot to investigate. He’ll use his probe to try to determine what the crater in the ball is made of.

On April26 Divot went to Cushing with a man who golfs. The two thought maybe they could work together on the mystery of the golf ball. As a bonus, the man offered to introduce Divot to the game of golf. Since Divot lived in the woods, he'd never imagined the broad expanse of green the man described as a golf course. Divot was eager to explore.
