Mullein
Mullein acorn, twigs, hollyhock seeds, carnation, mullein seeds, hydrangea, lilac seed pods, pistachio nut hulls, pine cone, weeds
Mullein is named after the plant also known as
candlewick plant. The tall spikes of
mullein were once dipped in tallow and used as torches. Twigger Mullein is
fascinated by this historical use but a mullein torch would be much too large
for her to handle. So, she carries a smaller “torch” of her own making.
