The “circus of the little branches” troupe is comprised of Barnum, Bailey, Ringling and Bill. They’ve been practicing for a long time. They’ve never succeeded in getting a fourth up on top so have resorted to using a ladder. Little Bill, on the ladder, is gung ho. Ringling, up there on top, knows this is a terrible idea.
