Damiana (in diorama with Fodo)

Damie  short for Damiana (acorn, twigs, pine cones and pine seeds, red osier dogwood)

            Damie thinks his real name is too long but likes that he’s named after a South American shrub that is an aphrodisiac. He considers himself a bit of a heart throb but he’s so tiny that most Twiggers don’t take much notice.

            Damie is in his element in the winter with his snow shoes and the bag “the human” made for him to carry his twigs. He likes to use ski poles when he’s out snow shoeing to help prevent falls.

            Damie befriended the dog-like Twigger, Fodo. Fodo is his nearly constant companion but Damie doesn’t realize that’s the main reason he can’t attract women. Most are afraid of Fodo.

            Damie was proud to represent the new year (2023), along with Gramps, in a public New Year’s statement.
